Our Story
Coppercakestands.com is an idea that originated from my own wedding, March 5, 2005. My husband, Brad, has spent the last 20 years working in the high end housing market and his passion is for designing and creating custom copper pieces for homes. As the plans for our wedding unfolded we decided that copper had to be a major part of our overall theme. Brad and his crew designed and fabricated not only our cake stand but our center pieces, vases, and pew hangers. The overall effect was breathtaking. The one piece that seemed to leave a lasting impression was our cake stand. It provided our cake with an unforgettable pedestal. Brad returned to the drawing board and created Our Bridal Collection which is now ready for production, and I would like to share this cherished experience with other brides with exclusive tastes.
Brad and I have said many times since our wedding day that we would love to go back and have that feeling all over again year after year. So much of your wedding day gets lost in the moment, the flowers wilt, the cake is eaten and the dress is stored away. Your anniversary comes and goes, without a tradition to mark the amazing day of your wedding vows. Our Heirloom Cake Stand was created in order to give you a tradition. It is the time capsule we all dream of to take you back to that amazing day. The capsule within the cake stand gives you a place to store memories year after year. It is a place to return to and remember why you have chosen to spend your lives together.
